I am changing out all of my hoses to Stainless Steel Braids and the only hose that I have left is the Upper Hose. I haven't got under the car yet to see if taking all of the "splash pans" will gain me access or if I have to take the Intake off. Anybody give me some tips.

 

You can pull the hose off without taking anything apart. But be prepared for scraped up hands. The easiest way I found to get the hose off is to slide some vise grips under the intake manifold till you reach the hose clamp under the manifold. Once you have the clamp squeezed together with the visegrips then you can get the hose off but lighty tugging on it.

WaltsS2k. Please post your results. I would like to change rad hoses also, but - you can not even see the housing to connect the top hose, how do you intend to make this connection? Or how did you? Thanks.
