Default charcoal canister

Hi there,
im trying to install the evap system to my westfield, and not sure about the layout. hoped someone could help me out?
the top of the charcoal canister has two hoses-im guessing 1 leads to the top of tank (breather). Dont know where the other one goes to tho- (maybe back to purge valve at front of car?)
the bottom hose leads to the filter, this much I know. but the filter has another two hoses which branch into one, and Im not sure where this leads to... can anyone help me out-an explanation or diagram would be great! the only ones Ive found show the canister and parts, but dont show where they lead to!
many thanks

Don't fumes go from the tank to the canister, and then to the intake via vacuum once the car is on?

yeh they got to the cannister from tank and one of the feeds goes to inlet... but the cannister also goes to the filter (see pic) and the filter has 2 feeds that go into one-and I dont know where this goes... I know its called a drain, but dont know what for, and dont know what it attaches to.
