Default Cheap eBay rectifier

Anyone ever give one of these a try? The bolt on the back of my alternator stripped. $30 sounds better than $150 for a remain alternator.

I tried, it got rid of the flickering, so far so good. I just hope it's not going to die on me in a year or so.

Bought one from the same seller, never used it. That being said, that store did have it listed as being for a 100 amp alternator instead of 105 amp alternator (as the S2k is) until I asked a question about it (after already purchaseing), then he changed the description.

I chickened out installing it for fear that a random, no name part could screw up something else electrical - my knowledge here is really limited so I err on the side of caution.

Not really sure about using cheap rectifiers. Lot of digital components don't like AC injected into DC supplies.
