Thumbs up Check engine light...

I unplugged a sensor that is on the intake manifold, forgot to plug it back in and started the car. The check engine light came on and doesn't go out now! I don't think it goofed anything up, but I'm not sure now! How do you go about resetting the check engine indicator, and does anyone know if this is a problem that needs more than just the light being reset?

Thanks in advance!

Chris

This would make you the man! Thanks for the thread. Very interesting!

I still feel like I did it myself, too! Lol

As for the rantings there, I think the internet is the greates wealth of information we have available. There are some wonderful people on this site with great ideas, suggestions, and advise. I like asking questions here before getting into something that could potentially cost me a lot of money! The books and suck all seem like a great idea until you misread something. these folks tell you what problems they've run into before I get a chance to have it happen to me!

Once again, thanks for the help, it worked fine.
