CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!
i was driving home from work today, didnt even vtec, and the CEL came on, i drove very conservatively home and went to auto zone to get them to pull the code, it took them 20 minutes to find the OBDII port, but i was able to pull the codes which happened to be the same code repeating "P1456", and "P1456".
their computer could only give me a generic answer and the first code was listed as "Evap Emission Control Sys" Leak Detected. The second P1456 code was the fuel tank temperature sensor circuit malfunction. Performance-wise i have yet to do anything to the car, as i have had it for a month, i recently changed the oil with non-synthetic 10w30, and other than visual mods and a stereo, the car is bone-stock.
when i got home, i reset the CEL and let the car idle for a few minutes, the light didnt come back on yet, and the only thing i noticed was that every so often i'd catch a whiff of air that smelled like it was running rich, other than that, nothing noticeable to report. can anyone give me some insight on what might be wrong?

here in jersey we have full service gas, i've been working in delaware, so when i get gas there i always make sure its on at least 3 clicks. my last tank was in jersey though, so ill tighten the cap and see if the light comes on again. leave it to me to have something this simple happen, i doubt it is the cap or filler neck (those things are checked during the "honda certified" process, i believe) but ill keep them in mind if the light comes on again. thanks for the input

as for the certifying process, their 150 point inspection says fuel system operation, connections/leakage, could just be the engine related systems though
