The TPS range on a S2000 is a bit different than other Honda's. I'd hunt for a used S2000 throttle body instead of swapping a TPS from another model which may not be able to be adjusted to the correct range.

Even to get a non-S2000 TPS, must junkyard's will only sell the entire throttle body.

The junkyards know that Honda only sells the Throttle body to replace a TPS.

Zacreth, I took the liberty of looking the code in my Helm's manual. Here were their troubleshooting instructions. Good luck.

DTC P0122: TP Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

1. Turn the ignition switch oN (ll)
2. Check the throttle position with the scan tool.

Is there about 6% when the throttle is fully closed and about 90% when the throttle is fully opened?

YES Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time, Check for poor connections or loose wires at the TP sensor and at the ECM.

NO Go to step 3.

3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Disconnect the TP sensor 3P connector.
5. Turn the ignition switch ON (ll).
6. Measure voltage between TP sensor 3P connector terminals No. 1 and No.3.

TP SENSOR 3P CONNECTOR
SG2 {GRN/YEL) VCC2 (YEL/BLU)
Wire side of female terminals

ls there about 5 V?

YES Go to step 7.

NO Go to step 13.

7. Turn the ignition switch OFF

8. At the sensor side, measure resistance between TPsensor 3P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with the throttle fully closed.

.TP SENSOR 3P CONNECTOR

Terminal side of male terminals there about 0.5 - 0.9 k ohms?

YES Go to step 9.

NO Replace the throttle body.

9. Measure resistance between TP sensor 3Pconnector terminals No. 2 and No. 3 with the throttle fully closed.

TP SENSOR 3P CONNECTOR
Terminal side of male terminals

ls there about 4.5 kohms ?

YES Go to step 10.

NO Replace the throttle body.

10. Reconnect the TP sensor 3P connector.

11. Turn the ignition switch ON (ll).

12. Measure voltage between ECM connector terminals C18 and C27.

Is there about 0.3 V when the throttle is fully closed and about 4.5 V when the throttle is fully opened?

YES- Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck(see page xx). If the TP sensor voltage is now normal, replace the ECM.

If NO Repair short in the wire between the ECM(C27) and the TP sensor.

13. Measure voltage between ECM connector terminals Cl8 and C28.

Is there about 5 V?

YES Repair open in the wire between the ECM (C28) and the TP sensor.

NO Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck(see page xx).

If prescribed voltage is now available, replace the original ECM
Hey eluded, someone was kind enough to send me a link to the whole manual in pdf format.
here's what i have. the first reading is 5.05v, then the next one is .598k ohms. But then problem is that I can't get a reading for the next part. So I think I need to replace the stupid throttle body.

Any ideas on what throttle body I should get? Get the stock one or a replacement from someone else? Also plz list prices if you have them on hand.

I just ran into this same issue. I'd rather replace mine with an aftermarket one. Any suggestions?

Ok, maybe someone can clear this up. I found a way that I can get the part for the sensor through a friend that works at Honda. (something like a 25-30 dollar part)
Problem is now is that I cleared by error codes and I went on a trip to Niagara Falls for the weekend. I expected the light to show up again, but after using different gas and it's been three tank full later, no light............
Intermittent problem or should I still replace it?

It can possibly be an intermittant problem. That was what I was thinking of doing. I haven't cleared my CEL, I'm waiting for it to go off. It could just take a while to come back on. Are you having any stalling or idiling issues?
