You should NEVER clear a CEL without FIRST finding out what the code is. NEVER NEVER NEVER.

please read the sticky at the top.

But I know what the code was from the earlier posts......
And by the way sweetj, the idling and stalling issues are non-existant. No problems what so ever.

Problem is now is that I cleared by error codes and I went on a trip to Niagara Falls for the weekend. I expected the light to show up again, but after using different gas and it's been three tank full later, no light............
Intermittent problem or should I still replace it?
You could use a scan-tool to see if your ECU is holding a pending DTC. The ECU can hold a pending DTC without triggering the CEL.

Ah... I see.....I would have to go to a Honda dealership for that. I don't have one nor does any of my friends......
I haven't experienced any problems....but I guess I could go get it checked out later.

actually, i think the autozone/pep boys/etc places have a scanner you can use free. it should also be able to detect the pending code.

also, my note about the CEL light was just a general reminder. sweetj have you pulled the code yet to find out what it is?

Yes i pulled my code...I also threw a misfire on cylinder 1. My CEL hasn't gone off yet.... kinda weird. I'm going to clear it myself and see what happens. The car has not had any issues since the CEL has come on. I have the print out of what the codes were from Advanced auto. Anyone remember what fuse you pull to clear the CEL... for some odd reason I can't remember
