Check Fuel Cap Error
I have read and heard of issues with the AP1 and the gas cap/check engine light. Well, today I got in the car after work and started it up..."Check Fuel Cap" was flashing on the display. The last time I put gas in the car was on Saturday afternoon. I have never had and issue like this before. The check engine light is not on either.
The car is a 2006 AP2 and I just rolled 28K miles today. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure the cap is tight, and keep driving.
The PCM will continue to run EVAP tests. If the cap was left loose the warning will go away. If the car has another problem the CEL will come on.

I have a 2002 with 68k miles and the check engine light comes on periodically. The first time, I took it in to the Honda dealer and after the diagnosis fee, a new gas cap cost me $200. Since then, I purchased a $50 analyzer and can check and clear the code myself. I have finally figured out that every time the fuel level goes down to half a tank, the light comes on. I can clear the code and fill the tank, and no problem. Now, I have to figure out what triggers the error at half full fuel tank! Any ideas, other than keeping the tank full?
This may help. TSB affects all 2002 S2000 cars.

I find with the cheapy cap I got from Advance Auto I have to grip the outside of the cap get it fully tightened. Using the handle makes it "click" but the cap won't be tight and throws the cel. Takes about two drives to go away when it comes on for me.
