Today I was on a cruise with some fellow S2k members when a very loud claking sound started happening in my engine almost like metal slapping metal sound. It got worse as the car drove so I had to pull it over to the side and leave it there and get a tow and when we turned it back on to hear it, it turned on easier but still had a loud clapping sound. Worst case scenario engine is gone, now what is my best case?

 

check your oil. See if low oil caused it.

 

I believe it could have been because of that.
