Default Cleaning up a bit of oil

I was topping off my oil the other day and a little bit of oil splashed out onto the side of my vavle cover and onto my header. Now after running my car for a bit up and down the highway I can spell burning oil, which I had expected. I was wondering if anyone knows a good process of cleaning up the thin layer of oil which spilled onto my engine?

Thanks,
Dan

Try a citrus based cleaner/degreaser, that should take care of your problem.

I clean up oil blotches on my engine with WD-40. Make sure the engine is COLD. WD-40 is flammable.

That has petroleum distillates - just use a common household spray cleaner like Simple Green or Formula 409 - this is not a big deal.

The Ornage cleaners work well and do not cause as much irritation if inhaled. Orange Blast works OK. Anything with d-Limonene.
