I'm glad this post is still helping people! Wonder why it's not in the library? (Moderators,) If I can do anything to get it there, let me know (reformatting - whatever).

I know this is an old thread but I'm about to remove my front bumper this weekend. Can you describe exactly how you pulled the bumper off? How do those clips actually hold the bumper on? Many thanks.

xviper,

honestly i forgot how that went. it's been so long, but i do know that i was tugging it a little from all angles. most likely it was a pull up down motion. if you follow arnell's instructions, you be ok. better find someone who has done it most recently to get your answer. don't worry bro, i was a bit concerned myself when i attempted to do it. believe me when say, "everything will turn out fine". sorry that i wasn't much help. have fun and don't forget the beers!

u might want to make a change to the instructions.. you can find amber turn signal bulbs OEM honda which is an EZ process to order through your local honda dealership

do a search for OEM amber posted by me for part #s.. they fit and work perfectly. civic si (the new one) works for the running lights (per airgate)

i've cleared probably 3 dozen headlights...

theres no science involved.

just keep the temp below 275 and youll be fine... the black plastic gets too soft above 275 and can be stretched/punctured to easily.

but just try to keep it under 275... and dont bake for very long... and your fine...

if you take the light out and its still difficult to take apart... raise the temp and put it in a bit longer. every light is different.

the sweet spot is when the light just pops apart.
