Default Clearing CEL code same as resetting ECU?

I cleared a stored code last week and I was wondering is that equivalent to resetting the ECU. I was wondering if I should follow the proper procedures for the car to "learn again" by letting it idle for 5-6 mins after warming up.

Usually if it's a stored code, the CEL won't clear permanently until you fix the problem. If it's an intermittent code, it will go away until the problem triggers again.

I fixed the problem as the shop that did my clutch swapped two vacuum hoses. After that, I just used an obd2 scanner and cleared the code. It hasn't come back on for over 250 miles.

You shouldn't have to reset the ECU. The car will learn again on its own.
