Default How does ecu react after CEL pops up and goes off?

Had P2138 error code pop up but strangely it would go off and then back on every so often. I am in the midst of solving this by checking my Hondata
FP settings but I was wondering if the ECU is still in Limp mode when CEL disappears for a bit

Just to rephrase. When CEL p2138 pops up, I can feel my ignition being pulled and car is very sluggish. Now due to some circumstances, the CEL will go off by itself (not due to clearing it up). What I'm asking is that in this case, has the ecu reverted to regular operation?

No way to be sure unless you datalog a drive where this occurs. Have you tried that?
