I'm stumped right now. Recently I started to have a clicking noise coming from the LR wheel. It is a high pitched click once per revolution of the wheel. I have already replaced the axle nuts and followed the procedure outlined in the diy and the noise still persists. If the rear suspension is lifted up in the air the noise doesn't occur. Thanks in advance for the help.

 

I just had similar problem on my daily driver recently, drove me mad. Turns out was a frayed piece of tire flicking as it revolved at speed. Was good brand tire too.

Guess there can't be too many causes from the rear... is your car lowered?
