Default Clicking noise from wheels in reverse

Has anyone ever noticed that when you put your car into reverse, back up and hit the brakes, they will click a little bit? My Civic does this also, anyone know what the hell it is?!?

The noise is coming from the brake pad's movement. When you change directions (foward to reverse, either way), the pads shift and hit part of the caliper they rest in. Very normal and common with Honda systems..free floating. Only way to reduce/minimize is to use a grease type stuff.. Molykote 77. Just lube the ends of the pads and the backing plate and it should go away for a while. The brake dust ends up sticking to the M77 and dries it up and flakes off...then start all over again...but that's the correct way. Don't use glue type stuff, probably adds more squeal and stuff...was always told/taught that...
