Hey everyone, well, as the title states, i'm hearing a ticking/clicking sound when at idle and when i hit the throttle. I changed out the TCT 2 days ago, so i'm pretty sure that's not the problem. I hear it when the car is warmed up. And sometimes my idle bounces, and goes as low as 4 bars (don't know how much rpms that is) and even somtimes would go down to 3, but jump back up to 4-6 bars. I cleaned out the iacv with carb cleaner, and i've done the map whack and also changed the pcv. Bought a new one from Honda. As of this point, i'm concerned about what the ticking/clicking sound may be. I've searched, but couldn't find any good advice on what it can be. Inputs would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Check oil pressure.

 

Valve adjustment?

 

Oil pump supply oil to the TCT, rockers etc etc. If the oil pressure is lower than spec, valvetrain/tct noise will occur especially at warm idle since the rpm is lower and the oil pump turning slower.Worn oil pump is not uncommon on S2K. Hope it help.
