Default Clogged winshield washer jet

Does anyone have any tips for a clogged winshield washer jet?

When I use the winshield washer, fluid only sprays out of the passenger side jet. I'm not sure how long the drivers side has been clogged, I know it worked when I bought the car. I removed the drivers side washer and traced the problem back to the actual washer jet (the part that attaches to the top of the hood). There is no visible signs of blockage but I tried blowing on the end and no air came out.

Has anyone experienced this? I guess Honda can replace the jet but I didn't know if it comes painted or not.

Well, now it works! I reinstalled everything and for some reason the drivers side jet is now working. I must of unclogged it somehow.

Next time you might want to try stripping the plastic from a garbage bag tie and inserting the resulting thin wire into the jets to unclog them. Worked for me.

The easiest way is to use a toothpick and pick through the tiny holes, careful on that because it changes the angle of the jet dispenser as well. If this doesn't work, then you should be attempting the other alternatives. After all, it should be covered by your warranty.

Windshield washer jets are often clogged by wax or polish. Be careful when you apply them because when they dry, they can block the water exit holes. The careful use of a toothpick will usually unclog this type of blockage.

First time I used the windshield washer I had the same problem, only the passenger side worked. I trouble shot it to the driver side nozzle, but did not have time to clean it out. I put the system back together and it just worked.

BTW I reccomend the twistie tie wire also.

I have never used them.. even after having the car over a month... so after reading this i went out to my car and tried to pray them and sure enough they both clogged.. i just used the hold it down untill pressure shoots it out evnutally and withen about 4 second the drivers side blew out.. so i held it down for about 5 more second and then the passanger side blew free... seemed pretty easy to fix

I don't use them as well ... Maybe cuz I love my car too much that it's never looking dirty at all. Don't even drive the car in bad weather, absolutely only reserved for fine weather use only.

I bought my car in November, so it was 4 months before I took it out in the rain. Didn't everybody's sales contract stipulate the no road salt was allowed to touch the S2000?
