Default Clunking noise coming from rear end?

hey guys, just noticed this noise while rolling to a stop. It sounds like a clucking noise. Not loud but noticeable. I found it only does it when rolling to a stop at 15mph or less. I have no vibration under acceleration. I raised the rear end of the car and looked around and I have up and down play in the 1/2 shafts on both sides but not much though. Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks guys

....?? why?

There's a million things that could clunk. The OP gave like zero detail. What are the chances his issue even applies to you?

I would just start your own thread with more detail.

Changing out to a fresh set of oem hangers initially saw improvement, but then the thunk returned, so I may need to try using a zip tie or switching over to polyurethane hangers.

Not sure if this helps, but it might be worth a look.
Your issue probably isnt hangers.

Thought process....

You think Honda left clunking hangers as part of YOUR particular S2000's design or something?

Didn't you already adjust the hangers without any positive result?

You really believe ZIP TIES is the correct recommendation for a fix, given the above?

Do stock S2000's with stock rubber hangers come with clunking exhausts? Hint....the answer is no.

Maybe whatever you did to the car which caused the hangers to "move" caused your issue? Or maybe the exhaust hanger thing is just a false clue?

Don't use zip ties and aftermarket parts to solve issues. Fix the issue.
