clutch acceleration

Default clutch acceleration

hi,

my honda since last night has some issues sticking clutch pedal and some weird sound when i pressed it, and i cannot go forward with more than 30-40 km per hour and it goes up to 7000 RPM in gear 1,2,3, any ideea what is wrong? i had to call towing guys

That sounds like the typical test for needing to determine clutch replacement (motor accelerates but vehicle does not).

If you do a search you should find that exact scenario.

time for new clutch internals.

Like others have already said, sounds like your clutch is starting to slip.

To be sure, double check your clutch master cylinder and slave for leaks. If they look ok, and if the clutch fluid looks ok, then more than likely it's time for a new clutch. But check the little things first before ruling everything out.

HI,

from what i saw near the clutch pedal something leaks i've already order the clutch kit (Tegiwa imports uk)+ master cylinder and slave cylinder will come soon from ebay too( didn't had time yet to order it )

A leak would not make your clutch slip, unless the fluid was pouring directly onto your disc/flywheel.

It sounds like your pressure plate/friction disc are worn out and need replacing.

Always, on any car, replace the master and slave together. If you replace only one, the other will fail. Most likely within the year.

anyone knows from where i could buy the slave cylinder clutch and ships to europe? i've tried talking with the buy on ebay (http://tinyurl.com/bc67fau) but said it does not fit my s2000 from 2000.. is that true?
