Default Clutch Bounce Noise

i cant hear it when im driving, probably b/c of engine noise, but when i move forward or reverse a couple feet in first gear and them press the clutch back in, there is a bouncing sound.

Imagine a bouncy ball that bounces 3-4 times, quicker each time and less loud but something heavy, maybe metal.

Just wondering if anyones experienced this and if its bad or normal, maybe something with the clutch is loose?

I bought the car with 45k miles and was told it had the clutch replaced not too long before that

Thanks

Do you notice a dip in the engine revs too?

I think I notice mine doing the exact same thing. Does the sound seem to come from the rear? Like in the diff area? I am also curious about this...

I should have asked: do you notice the revs drop below idle level?
As in: the engine almost stalls but picks up again.
During that brief moment of lower-than-normal-idle there is some kind of bouncing sound IIRC.

Other than that: I don't know.
Maybe go to a local S2000 meet and ask an experienced owner?
Post a sound clip?
