Default Clutch "Buzz"

My clutch pedal has a small buzz when in use. I thought I saw some old threads on this issue, but a couple of searches that I tried didn't help me.

What causes the buzz and what future am I looking at?

It won't affect anything, it's just an annoying noise. The buzz is caused by the springs in the center hub not being rigidly attached and rattling around.

Thanks, Is that something that can be corrected? How difficult of a job is it?

Remove clutch disk, replace, or tak weld the ends of the springs to hub, or learn to live with it.

But of you decide on relapacing the clutch you would be looking at an aftermarket setup. The clutch buzz is nothing to worry about and something that I don't even consider a problem. Its more like a characteristic of the car, makes it unique and noisy.

If you replace the disk just get an OEM one, only one that's worth it for a stock car in my opinion. You don't need to replace the pressure plate, maybe resurface the flywheel if your clutch has more than 60,000 miles. The new clutch disks have the springs mounted more securely and tend not to rattle, which solves the clutch buzz. For the amount of work needed to get at the clutch I'd say just learn to live with it.

Typical clutch buzz happens IN 3rd-gear, engine braking, between 4500-3000 rpm.

So what do you mean with:

My clutch pedal has a small buzz when in use
