Clutch fluid change
Hi,
Can someone post a DIY with pics on how to change my clutch fluid?
I searched and the one link that seemed like it would have the info needed, doesn't work anymore.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Step 1. Open hood and lay down some newspaper inside the engine bay/on the fenders as brake fluid is very corrosive.
Step 2. Open the top of the clutch fluid reservior, the fluid is probably black. Get a turkey baster and suck the dirty fluid out and dispose of it properly. Fill with clean fluid, then suck it out a few times until the chamber is fairly clean.
Step 3. Fill with fresh DOT 3/4 brake fluid and jack the car up and put it on jack stands. Crawl underneath and attach a plastic hose to the end of the bleeder nipple. Have someone pump the clutch pedal a few times and hold it
Step 4. Grab a wrench (forgot if it's 8 or 10mm for the clutch) and open the valve and watch dirty fluid flow through. Close the valve and have your helper pump up the clutch by hand a few times then repeat until the fluid is clean. Make sure you check the fluid level in the tank every so often as you don't want to suck in air or you'll have to start over.
Step 5. Top the fluid to the correct level and pump the clutch up by hand until it stiffens up to normal and you're done.
