Default Clutch fluid grey already after full flush?

Been having issues shifting. Diagnosed it as a leaking cmc. Replaced with a new unit and bled the system. It solved it for a week. Now I am not loosing fluid. My lines are good. But my fluid is grey again after 500 miles or less and the issue is back. Any ideas? Possibly air in the system? I'm at a loss here.

You said you're not losing fluid, but that the issue is back. Which is it?

What was your bleeding process?

Im not loosing fluid. And the issue is back. Making me think that was not the issue. However I'm wondering why my clutch fluid is grey so quick.

My bleeding process was the normal 2 person bleed. They push pedal I open bleeder valve. I close bleeder valve they retract pedal. Repeat.

Elaborate on your shifting issue. Clutch fluid will get dirty quick since it is a small reservoir and many times it is neglected so might need to flush again

Shifting issue is sometimes it shift perfectly fine and smooth. Other times its almost impossible to put it in gear while driving. Ecspecially 3rd and 6th.

regardless of hot or cold...any rpm? tried double clutching-this may tell you if it is syncro related, assuming everything is adjusted prooperly.

I'd say the old cmc polluted the fluid, and even though you bled the lines, there is still dirt in them. Try bleeding again and see if that helps. It doesn't take much to turn the fluid.

It's normal for the clutch fluid to turn dark after a low amount of miles. It's a very small hydrolic system and the fluid constantly moving causes it to change color pretty quickly. There's nothing wrong with it, it's doing what it's supposed to. When was the last time you changed your gear lube in the transmission? Miles on clutch? Try greasing the clutch fork where it meets the throwout bearing and also grease the plunger ball on the slave cylinder where it meets the clutch fork. One last thing I'd try would be greasing the shifter. Try all that and adjust your clutch pedal to where it has little to no play (an inch or less of free play up top) and see where that gets you.
