hey guys well its my time to replace the clutch in my S so ive decided to go with a spec stage 4, 6puck. now the problem!!!! it says on horsepowerfreaks(where i plan on ordering from) that only cars with dualmass flywheels will come with unsprung disc's. i want the unsprung disc, however i dont wanna order it and i get a sprung. so do the s2000 have dualmass flywheels or not. my S is a ap1. last i plan on going with the fidanza 8lbs flywheel. so once again i am asking if the ap1's have dual mass flywheels or not???

 

no none of the s2000s have dual mass flys dual mass is just a flywheel that has a sprung friction surface that moves much like the sprung center of a sprung clutch disk. most commonly found on Z's and G's and NSX

 

S2000 does not have a dual mass flywheel.

 

Choose wisely.I have 2 S's,one with stock clutch which of course is nice and usable for DD.The other has Act clutch/flyw and is SC.Not ideal for DD but great for autox and track.Heavy light clutch pedal ?Light is more cumfy,u choose.
