Thanks Slalom for the DIY. I performed this "gravity bleed" and this is what the reservoir looked like after the first time I finished.

Knowing that this looked far too dirty...I repeated the process. This is what it looked like after the second time:

Obviously you can tell that there is still some sediment in the reservoir. I took the car fora test drive and getting the shifter into all gears was very smooth and easy. The only problem was, the shifter is still very light and has a late engagement. Definitely improved from before, but definitely not ideal. Will this work its way out after driving more miles or should I repeat the gravity bleed procedure again? Thanks for everyone's help!

Yep, I use the Valvoline synthetic Dot3/4 fluid works decent. I'd say one more flush will do it, just get that gunk out of there.

So I took the car out and the as soon as I started driving it hard, my clutch stuck to the floor. I obviously pulled over, and the clutch master cylinder was empty. Luckily I brought some DOT3 with me and was able to fill it up to get the car drivable and get it home. So obviously, I have a leak somewhere. My question now is two parts: 1) Where is the best place to buy and 2) Do I need to buy the clutch slave cylinder too?

This is what I have found so far:

It's not a really special part, I think it's anywhere between $80-120 for a brand new unit. If your slave isn't leaking there's no need to replace it.

Did you make sure the slave cylinder bleeder valve was completely closed? That seems too fast for it to leak that quickly.

Perfect pictures of the progress. Usually I'll do a bleed or two, then drive it for a week or so, and do a final bleed.
