excellent, excellent coverage on the removal of the tranny. I unfortunately didnt get to enjoy my new Exedy stage III because a week later while power shifting I spun the #1 rod bearing so now I have to go in the block and pull the crank be careful when dealing with a high performance clutch the S2 will spin bearings be thrust or rod. Since I have to by a crankshaft Im just going to put the F22 crank in and sleeve the block put some 8:5 to 1 forged pistons in it, puts the cc's around 2287 so when i supercharge it, it'll be ready, no turbocharging want to get the most out of the J's Racing header

 

I didn't read where someone mentioned this, but in step 2, you have the arrow pointing to the wrong pulley. The tensioner is the upper most grooved pulley.

wow ur a soldier, we did mine on a hoist and still had lots of fun...

i also wanted to note that hte only thing i disconnected on the top was the battery. to drop the tranee we took out the engine mounts and let the engine rest on the portrusions which the engine mounts were in (sorry i dont know the technical name). even though all went well, i'm afraid we did something wrong since you did it differnetly. what do you think?

 

i have all the bolts off the belll housing and the tranny is loose, but it wont slide off does anyone else know what im doing wrong.

 

If your droping the eng is it ezer to do it from the bottem or pull the eng through the top/hood of the car?

Doh, I forgot to mark the driveshaft before I removed it. Is there any way to realign it when I reinstall it?
