Default Clutch issue

Hello guys,

I couldn't find a link to the issue I'm having with my clutch. I haven't driven the car for about 2 weeks and when I started up the car today, I had such a hard time put the gear in. I couldn't even push it in to reverse, I had to really force it in.
The gears go in ok, when I'm driving on the highway but when I come to a full stop, I have to use force to go into gear.
I checked out the slave cyclinder and it looks like it's leaking black fluid out but not dripping. Also when I looked in the master cyclinder overflow tank every was black and muggy. What do you guys think might be the problem? I know it's something with the clutch, just need to know what part?

Thanks for any advise..

Sometimes after sitting for a long time, the clutch can get stuck to the flywheel. But if you've been driving it, then that is already taken care of.

Since it is hard to get into gear, it may very well be the master and slave cyl. If you are seeing black ooze from either and the master cyl reservoir fluid is black, you might consider changing out the master cyl and slave. You can try just flushing the fluid and bleeding the system...but if you are seeing leaks, it's just going to get bad again.

i'd guess the clutch master/slave cylinder being the problem. swap 'em out and in doing so you put in new fluid. they are not too expensive and it's a fun DIY thing to do in the man cave. i got my set from hardtopguy, he shipped fast and had the best price on the net at the time (doesn't charge that much on shipping either).

Cool! Well, I don't have a man cave so, I'm stuck out side in the weather. I couldn't find the master in Hardtop guy, I only see the slave.

Here is a couple of DIY's. You might want to try both of theses and see who it feels.

Rough Clutch fix https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=370792

And if you do need to change the master cylinder. http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=15696

I just got back from my mechanic. He helped me bleed the cyclinder and it still feels notcy, it goes in to gear but it's still rough.
I'll be bringing it back tomorrow to get the slave changed. I forgot to mention that I changed the clutch and lighter flywheel and heavy duty pressure plate. My mechanic said there is a little leaking from the slave cyclinder. Can a little leak cause that feeling in the clutch?
Could the problem be the gear box or tranny?
