Default Clutch?, on its way out?

OK new one to me, just comming home from the hospital in the car and it was a struggle to get into 6th gear, then 4,5 and 6th.

When i got home and the car was stationary i depressed the clutch pedal and there was a strange noise if i tried to put it in any gear (no crunching or grinding just a noise)

No smells or slipping in any gear and its just suddenly started.

Now its very notchy/stiff changing gears and if i drive along in any gear then press the clutch all the way in and coast like that, there is a noise sort of like a shhhh.

Is it the clutch/bearing?

Could also be a transmission bearing going out too.. Mine's in the shop now for this.

I take it you verified your transmission fluid is full, and your clutch fluid ?

Sounds to me like your clutch is dragging. Your clutch may not be fully disengaging. Check your fluid level of course but you may also want to check your clutch pedal free play.

sounds like the pressure plate springs are worn out and weak.
