Default Clutch master cylinder

So I changed my clutch fluid (gravity bleed method). And I see it's starting to leak. Wasn't leaking before. Any idea if this is normal? Should I bleed it again?

This is before I bled the clutch.

this is after. I Bled the clutch about 1 week ago.

did you use Dot4 fluid? you should.
that pastey stuff is pretty common on the clutch master. I dealt with wiping that down every so often for a few years, then just replaced the master, even though the clutch still engaged perfectly.

If this is the original CMC, you should consider replacing it with a new one. Our CMCs are known to go out/leak.

Mine is leaking. From what I've read, the master cylinder should be changed out.

In addition to bleeding did you clean out the bottom of the reservoir with shop towels? This is where the gunk accumulates. If not then drain the reservoir with a syringe then wipe it out with towels until spotless and refill.

Replaced the CMC over the weekend. Took longer than expected as I had the fuel pressure regulator for the supercharger in the way which was a pain to access the bolts. Other than that and some spilled brake fluid, the new part works great and clutch feels good. Old versus new Honda part. Old one stamped Nissin 1. New stamped Nissin 2.
