Billman--Sometimes, a stuck clutch pedal, or one that doesn't/reluctant to return, can be the sign of air in the hydraulic line. It's happened to me before.
Yes, major air in the line can cause the pedal to NOT return on it's own.

This is a different problem. The pedal will always return on it's own. This problem feels like the clutch pedal is getting stuck on something when releasing from the floor.

There allready are 2 excellent posts about sticky and rough clutches.
Both with pics and lots of info.

Both should be in the FAQ.
IMHO.
Very Honest

Whoa here's my problem! I also had my clutch replaced, suffered the same symptoms. When I pulled the slave cylinder to check if the mechanic had put UREA grease on it I saw that there was none and also noticed the nipple, but I thought it was supposed there. So I lubed and reassembled and suffered all the same issues again. If I replace the slave or grind the tip down will this help?

I have the same problem, but my oem clutch was replaced last year with another one. So Im sure it doesnt need to be replaced again. I dont launch and drive hard. So it must be a fluid/grease thing for me

i seem to be having problems relating to something similar to this. When I press the clutch pedal, I don't feel any resistance at all. I also can't shift into gears. Could it be that it's not getting enough air in the hydraulic line as suggested above? Any info will help greatly, thanks.

Check your reservoir
Also there shouldn't be air in the lines at all.
