well i'm not in my driver's floor at the moment so i can't tell you how much thread should be showing there, but i can tell you that there shouldn't be ANY fluid inside the car there.

Yeah i thought that but my dad said otherwise and he is a stubborn f**kr so it's pointless arguing!

if there is no pressure, no leaks in the MC, your slave might be gone. I highly doubt it, since so far, Ive only heard the MC going. The Slave cyl is stuck on the trans on the bottom...
as for ''how much threads supposed to show"

- the threads are there to be adjustable. It will change depending on how much your clutch is used up.

There is solid pressure like i said i think that the adjustment has allowed me to use the car but it needs to be put in for a new clutch assembly asap

I had the same problem and it was my slave not the master. but yeah if your getting fluid at the footwell then its a good bet its the master. Can you get under the car? if so check the slave and see if theres oil around the boot that surrounds it. if its dry then thats not where your leaking obviously. N as for the fluid, use dot 4 and thats if you cant get a hold of genuine, cause honda aparently have some kind of refinement on their genuine brake fluid and dont warrant the use of other kinds in the system. Mechanically it doesnt matter too much.

Just FYI, I added some prestone dot3 and now it appears I'm good. It seems very strange to me that this started when I changed my front pads/rotors (with the front of the car jacked up)....

^the brakes will have nothing to do with it unless you messed with the lines/reservoir.

The Mazda6 on the other hand...has a connected brake & Clutch reservoir..

^most likely just cuz its cheaper to make. only one can vs. two seperate + easier to mount.

con? if one fails, both will. haha, imagine...not being able toi use gear brake AND regular brakes?!
