Default Clutch problems?

alright so right now im at a loss for words, anyone have any of these symptoms before

the first major problem is that shifting has become impossible. my car has been completely fine this whole time, but just today some reason it just started acting up. this morning i was trying to reverse out of my driveway when it just wouldn't budge. It took me a minute straight of tugging on the shift knob too finally reverse. Also on the way to school, it was a constant struggle to shift. It was especially bad when i came to a complete stop. in fact, while stopping uphill at a ramp waiting to get into the freeway, i got stuck and had to put the emergency lights on. took me a good 2 minutes to force the shift knob into 1st gear.

the second problem is that it feels like my clutch got progressively weaker and weaker as the day went by. iono how to really explain it, its like the resistance i normally feel completely disappeared, until my clutch was just all floppy and loose. i only felt a small resistance when i pushed it down all the way. so it made shifting really strange

sorry if i was really confusing, i never really had any serious major mechanical malfunctions until today. anyone know whats wrong with my car? thanks!

i know how you feel. I had problems putting it in gear on first and reverse. Had to stomp on the clutch many times til it finally went in gear. This happened on my old honda civic. I changed out new fluids for the clutch and transmission, it solved the problem. My clutch is getting old so it might be the culprit.
