Clutch replacement
Hi there!
My S2000 is due a clutch as it is starting to slip, I'm new to the S2K world and was wondering if there is anything else I should be changing along with the clutch?
Thanks

How many miles are on your car? Many people resurface their flywheel and replace their pilot bearing as well. And some also replace the rear main seal while they have it apart. I didn't do these but if your flywheel looks discolored or scored from slipping, you might want to consider this.
I changed my starter as well since I had 12 years and 330,000 miles. I checked the brushes in the old starter and they weren't going to last much longer. Replacement brushes cost a lot more than a low mileage used starter, so I just swapped starters. You need to disconnect the starter anyway when you do a clutch job.

Yeah.. might as well do this too while everything is out, for peace of mind and longevity in the future. My previous Tacoma had a (very slight) oil leak on the rear main seal. Cheap part; but the labor of taking out the trans is what get you. So might as well do it while doing a clutch change.
