i had the same symptoms when my clutch fork hook/pivot point broke. the slave cylinder gets maxed out and makes the pedal rock hard. if the fork has play in it you might want to see if the little steel clip is on the hook. that holds the fork in place.

It was the TO bearing... it was cocked in there sort of like we thought and so it was pushing on the fork and holding it crooked as well... long story short it was basicly keeping the clutch 90% disengaged all the time. But we pulled it all the way down and fixed it and then put it all the way back. Pedal feels stock and clutch grabbed just fine when I backed the car out of the garage and pulled out of the way so I could put mine back in.

Phil once you get home post up the CEL you threw, I'm going through stuff in my head and cant think of anything but secondary O2 that may be throwing a CEL as there wasn't anything else that we changed. Hit me up and I will rack my memories while I wait. Hope the clutch feels good for you, like I said I only drove it to the mail boxes and back but it seems to grip and hold like an OEM clutch would be expected. Once again sorry for the 2 day delay and keep me posted on how the clutch does after breaking it in.

Time for me to sleep... ttyl J

Checked your codes...

Ok im on the phone with you now and we figured out one code... the other one looks like it is:

DTC P1259 is a problem in the VTEC oil Pressure switch circuit or VTEC solenoid valve circuit. The most common cause is one of the two electrical connectors on the VTEC solenoid arent connected properly. So if I were you I would pop the hood and disconnect them both... then plug them back up solidly wiggling them to make sure they click in good. Once that is done you can do the following.

1) Reset the engine ECM
2) Check the engine oil level...as previously suggested
3) Warm the engine to 3 bars and then until cooling fans come on.
4) Road test the car-
-- Accelerate in 1st gear to 6,000 RPM. Hold that RPM for at least two seconds. If DTC P1259 is not repeated during the first road test do the terst 2 more times.
