Default Clutch Replacement Route?

Ok, I just had a Stage 3 Competition Clutch and flywheel installed on my S2K, it has the awful clutch buzz when slowing down. I am getting my transsmision replaced due to bad syncros and while the transsmission is out I also want to do somthing about the clutch buzz.

Can I just replace only the friction disc to cure the buzz or what?

Im stumped, that buzz is going to drive me insane.

I heard the brand of clutch I had installed is the worst for buzzing

The buzz is coming from the friction plate springs. The newer version OEM's have addressed the issue but I believe it's still hit and miss.

I just got back from the shop with a new Hardtop guy setup and it's great, but I found out the stage three clutch I had in there was so strong, my engine mounts were broken in half and fell to the ground and that was causing alot of what I thought was deceleration buzz, I picked up a JDM tranny while I was there because There is a slight whinning and rattle in the tranny after 70,000 miles of abuse with that Cluthmaster Stage three clutch which was 100% all or nothing. Go with ACT/ Comptech combo.

I don't think any clutch will break motor mounts, they were probably damaged some other way, maybe when the clutch was installed.

Yes, the OEM friction disk will fix the deceleration buzz problem.

So my Stage 3 Competition clutch Pressure plate will work fine with the replacement OEM friction disc. Keep everything else the same, same Throwout bearing etc.. ? What is so good about the ACT PP or does it matter? ---Thanks
