Default Clutch slipping and needs replaced

Has anyone changed their clutch without using a lift? Im at the point where i think i have to find a lift or rent a lift to change my clutch out because i am on Coil overs and cant even get my body under the car because its so low. Has anyone have any experience changing clutches and how did you do it, with or without a lift?

if you guys could give me a few options or recommendations if i need a lift or not?
if i dont, explain to me how i can change my clutch without using a lift cause i really dont feel like finding a lift or even renting a lift which cost plenty of money.

thanks a lot,
steve

Why do u think you need a lift? I have done 4 clutch jobs on my brother and on my s2000 on my driveway. And u nene it to put the car on 4 jack stands. The key is u need to put the car very on on the highest setting for the jack stands. Just follow the write up on here. It's really not that hard if you know the basics on cars. It's just very labor and time intensive.

Two jacks, four jack stands, some hand tools, an open weekend, and a whole lot of patience. That should get you through your first clutch change. The Helms manual will help, and DIY's from this site will help even more.

I'm mid way through this project right now. 4 jackstands, 4 jacks, a couple of nice snap on flexible wrenches, two battery impact hammers, patience and about 24" of extensions to get the starter bolts. Straight shot from the front end with a swivel or two. So far, not bad, just time consuming.

my buddy and i have two methods... first, back the bolts or nuts most of the way out, and finish removing it by hand (mechanics gloves help with grip)

and second.... drop it, and hope it hits the ground. thus far... no issues and only dropped one bolt.

as far as removing the header, the manifold nuts seem to be very easy to remove, i did however shear off one of the bolt heads that holds the header to the frame through a bracket.... fml/ that shit was rusted straight through though.
