Default Clutch Springs Serviced?

I just bought a certified used S2000 two weeks ago and it has the certified honda warranty on it. Whenever I pickd up the car it had a loud sound from 3 to 4k RPM when I let off the accelerator and I just took it in to service and they are saying that it's the clutch springs and they need to be replaced but they won't cover it under warranty because the clutch is a wear and tear part. Then I argued that the clutch springs aren't a wear and tear part and he agreed, but he still was stuck in a bad situation and couldn't fix it. I heard before about somebody getting this fixed under warranty so does anything know anything about this. Please help.

Do a search for TSB-054 (I think). It is a common problem with the clutch pressure plate. They should fix it, since it is a design problem.

After looking at it again, Honda called me back and said that they are taking care of all the charges!
