Bought a '02 S2000 which came pre-modified. Skunk2 Springs.

I'm trying to return it to stock for Autocross.


Removed the shock, however... I realized that I can't tell which springs are for the front, and which ones were for the back.

The previous owner did not make any markings...

Is there any simple way to tell?


Right now, I just have a box... with 4 OEM springs.

IIRC the rears are longer than the fronts

 

The only difference I can see between the two sets is the positioning of the ends of the springs.

Set A - Looking down from the top of the coil spring, one end ends at 12:00, the other end ends at 4:00.

Set B - One end ends at 12:00, the other end ends at 6:00.

If anybody has a set of stock springs, and can identify which one is rear, and which one is front from this description, that'd be helpful.

Also,

Set A has three blue dots.

Set B has one orange dot on the middle coil, and two blue dots.

I believe these are OEM markings... so if anybody can check, that'd be awesome.

 

One question... who the F**k would put skunks on their S2?
