coilover questions...
hey guys...
question reguarding coilovers...always wondered this but never found an answer...
i know coilovers are supposed to improved the suspension and handling of a car, along with a good drop
but what gets replaced when putting in the coilover? is a coilover the shock and spring in one package? can the spring in the coilover be replaced? i don't know if this would be a good idea but something like the tein coilovers with spoon springs??? as you can tell, i'm a newb with this suspension stuff...
any and all responses are welcome. i'm looking to educate myself...

Its like the hokey pokey . . . take the old shocks out put the coils overs in . . .
(Well, before popping them in, get them shock dyno'ed first, adjusting the spring rates and damping. Corner weighting the car is probably optional since the car is so well balanced anyway). The installation is pretty trivial.
Get an alignment done afterward. Plenty of posts on that topic . .
