Cold Air Intake Or Hot Air Intake???

The fliter doesn't go straight thru bt that intake does suck all around i had one before my aem

That's nothing but Hot Air Intake. You're losing power from it. You spent money yet losing power. Why? Hot air is all within the engine bay, not just behind the filter so that you could simply block it with a simple panel. When in operation, the hot air in the engine bay could reach an extremely high temperature, and your intake is sucking it in. What a waste of time and money! Just get a normal CAI and let it suck in cooler air from underneath and upfront. You think that with a little panel like that, you could block all the hot air in the engine bay? You're blocking very little. Air distributes throughout the entire surrounding area; it doesn't remain still. Think about it!
