hmm.. blue smoke.. ur burning oil.. but where? This is on startup.. ur probably leaking oil from the top, like the valves.. since gravity pulls everything down it can only be comming from the top since this occurs at startup.. maybe take a look there?

the only cold start issues ive ever had with this car was with an AEM EMS and after everything was primed and warmed up it was fine..

Well its only done that this time, it popped then it smoked blue for a second.. I'm hoping it is only because it cut off in the middle of being started and I tried starting it again.

What oil are you using: dino 10W-30?
Just as the oil cap / manual says?

The owners manual has some specific instructions for cold weather starts for my 04 ap2, have you cheked yous ( or was it high altitude )
