so i just finished installing a cometic 3mm headgasket on my S. so i fired it up and everythig seemed normal. i was getting some white smoke from the exhaust but nothing crazy. it looked normal like when u first start the car but then after 20 min it was still there so i didnt know if it was normal. i turned it off because i knew it needed some oil and when i took off the oil cap it was a little milky.

i used arp head studs and i torqued them to 80ft/lbs using arp moly lube. any thoughts? please help.

You need to do a leakdown test to verify a blown headgasket.

Should have done some research before you went with that combo.

 

go smell the exhaust does it smell like anti-freeze? and why would you change the head gasket?

 

^ from the video and seeing the stock airbox it looks as if he wanted to lower compression on an NA motor because he didn't like the hp/tq. Now it has much less.

 

no the reason i did it was because i was pulling off the head because of bent valves and decided to go with a 3mm hg because i plan to go fi in the near future....
