The two things below don't seem to match up? Plus you already changed the plugs. Bad gas makes more sense than anything else right now.

Dropped the car off at the dealer yesterday, they checked everything "supposedly" from the outside. said it needed the plugs changed again and that the valves were out of adjustment. the exhaust valves in particular. they are suppose to be buttoning everything up this morning, i hope this is the end of my nightmare.

Make sure you read the codes again yourself if the CEL comes back on. You may need the info if you have to go back to the dealer.
