Default Compression numbers and plug inspection

I finally got around to checking compression in all cylinders today. I also checked the spark plugs to see what they look like after 1000 miles.

Here's what the plugs look like:

I noticed a mix between a matte black color and some brown?

My compression in order of cylinders 1-4 was 220, 223, 222, 225 at 1,000 ft. above sea level.

It's a 2003 F20C with ~120,000 on the motor (non-original) and 1000 miles on the spark plugs. Does everything look normal? I'm trying to make sure I have a healthy motor to go FI with. Thanks in advance for any help!

Seems ok. At least the compression number look good. Better photos of the tips of the spark plugs?

Didn't really get the chance to snap more pics of the plugs but if you could imagine the first thread or two is darker and kinda charcoal-ish. you can even see I kinda rubbed some of it off on #3..

Thanks for those sources! It appears I am running a little rich. I'm sure I can get air/fuel adjusted through a tune by someone who knows about that stuff.

This typically happens when you have a lazy O2 sensor, if you're still on the original a new primary would help.
