i've searched and haven't been able to find.. if there is a formula to figure out compression ratio.. from doing a compression test..
like if i do a compression test and get 1- 180 2- 165 3- 172 4- 180 .. is there a way to figure out if i have 11.5:1 or 11.9:1 or whatever compression ratio from that?
if not is there another way to do it? i'm asking because i had my short block rebuilt and they milled the block and it raised the compression.. i wanted to figure out exactly what its at now.. to see if i do spoon head gasket to raise it a lil more if it would be pushing it over the edge.. i wouldn't go higher then 12.1:1
