compression test result
the results are relative...meaning as long as there isnt a 10% variance between cylinders and the numbers fall within spec range which i believe is somewhere in the neighborhood of 180 to 240psi then youre good...healthy motor you have if you were to ask my professional opinion
That's fine. Consistency is the key here. Seeing your mileage, have you checked/adjusted your valves yet? Also check for cracked retainers. AP1s are notorious for this. If you haven't already, upgrade to AP2 intake retainers & keepers.

My compression came out to be 200 203 201 200. I have a 01 with 92k miles. Since 240 across is solid, what would my results means?
there is nothing wrong with the ap1 retainers. it's the driver error that cracks them...

^Partially true.
Yes driver's error is the primary reason for cracked ap1 intake retainers. However, AP2 intake retainers (in an AP1) will survive an over-rev that will otherwise bend your exhaust valves. I'm a firm believer that the F22 retainers are superior than the F20. Also it's nice for peace of mind. Unless the OP is the original owner how will he know if the previous owner(s) didn't accidentally money-shift?

An over rev is still driver error. His statement wasnt partially true, it is completely true. It wouls be partially true if something other than driver error caused them to crack.

I said partially true towards his statement because although yes it's completely (TRUE) over-rev = driver's error...it's also (FALSE) to simply dismiss the fact that ap1 retainers are inferior to ap2 retainers by design. There's a whole thread about this on here. The ap1 retainers are simply not as good as the ap2. So there IS something wrong with them when compared to the ap2 retainers and Honda knew this which is why they redesigned them. This wouldn't be the first s2k component Honda designed poorly. (i.e. TCT).

i absolutely hate it when people say AP1 retainers are inferior in design to AP2 retainers...in what sense? they perform the job they were intended to do and they do it flawlessly, therefore i wouldnt say its an inferior design...they werent designed to hold up to 11,000+ rpms and niether are AP2 retainers...if you never over-rev the motor, there will never be an issue with the retainers cracking

when someone says inferior design, it leads me to believe that there is a critical flaw with the design that would hinder it from performing the function it was designed to do...i dont give a shit how much "stronger" AP2 retainers are supposed to be...AP1 retainers perform the fuction they were designed to perform, therefore, its not an inferior design...i dont need anyone to enlighten me as i am very familiar with this subject...and FYI, if you mis-shift from 3rd to 2nd at redline with AP2 retainers, theres still a very good chance the retainer is going to crack...and furthermore, i dont look at it as an issue since i dont drive like a jackass and "money shift" a car that wasnt designed to be money shifted...
