Safe to say you are an ap1 owner?! Me too bud! Same team, saaaammmeee teeeeaaaam! Such hostility over retainers? Back to the OP, and the original question. As previously stated, consistent numbers = good numbers! Have a great Easter everyone, even you Irishman

its not so much hostility as it just gets old seeing mis-information that constantly gets spread..I.E. AP1 retainers are prone to cracking, yes, if you over-rev the motor, AP2 retainers will to and my favorite, AP1's suffer from snap over-steer, which is driver induced as well...no worries mate, i wasnt trying to come off as attacking, i just wish people would understand most issues that people bitch about on AP1's are, in fact, driver induced issues

Many on here will say the OEM TCT is an inferior design to Billman's modified TCT...Is this statement not true because they BOTH perform the function it was designed to do?

i have over 103k miles on my stock TCT and it has never made a noise...i wouldnt say thats an inferior design either...do i believe billmans is better? of course, but as far as my experience with the stock TCT i cant say its inferior since its still doing the job it was intended to do

Check your valve clearance. I noticed mine were way too tight when I checked mine. They were likely partially open thats how bad it was. I'm the 2nd owner and the first owner had all work done by the dealer. I did some research and some have reported losing clearance over time. I either had a previous valve job adjusted wrong or I truly lost clearance over time due to valve/ valve seat wear or something along those lines. Search for it and you may find what others have ran into.
