did you check to make sure you reseated the dust covers and associated suspension pieces properly?

Is the sound specific to the left or right of the car?

it says not to re-use the stock dust covers... and it is specific to the drivers side...

Recheck the torque on all your bolts. Make sure to preload the suspension before torqueing the bolts. 2.5 is pretty low considering how soft those springs are.

 

2.5"!!!! Damn.... That's too low for any car that is driven on the street IMO.

Raise it.

 

not sure if u gotta do this with s2k but i had to with my prelude did u cut the bump stop in half? because if u lower it and dont youll be hitting it

 

Make sure you tightened all the bulljoints to your sway bar 100%. I missed one when I did my suspension, and I got a popping noise. These are tricky to tighen because of the fact that sometimes the bolt will want to turn with the nut. In which case, you have to use a low profile wrench and a pair of pliers to hold on the bolt.

And yeah, like they said 2.5" is crazy...

yes i did cut the bumpstops in half but only in the rear's because on comptech's installation it says not to modify them at all...

and yes i know 2.5 is too low, but i just wanted to test them out since they were "adjustable springs" not lowering springs or coilovers. and if the popping is coming from being too low i will feel like an idiot!
