Ok, so I just bought the Comptech Front Strut Tower Brace for my 2006 S2k. I installed it per the instructions, but now my hood won't close. Did I do somethign wrong, or was there a change im the 2006 that is making it incompatible?

Comptech's site shows it fits S2000 (All), the instruction that came with it said '00-'05, and the online instructions stop at '04. *sigh*

 

According to Comptech, it should fit all years of our cars. I've got the aluminum one on my '03, and had no issues getting it to fit. Do a search because there have been other people with this issue. I can't seem to remember what they did to resolve the problem, but it involves something with the hood lining. As a last resort, you could just call or email Comptech for the information. If you call, talk to Shad; he's the S2k expert there (I believe he still works there). They're very prompt and knowledgable on these kinds of issues.
