Ground Control w Koni's
For those of you with Ground Controls.
I just got my set in the mail. I was wondering what do you use to adjust the collars.
No tool is included with the kit, I thought it came with a tool to raise or lower the ride height. What do you guys use to turn the collar.
Also how do you determine which perch is for the front and the rear. The springs don't say which one is the 340 and which one is the 380 spring weight??
Only thing is a part number, worse comes to worse, I will call GC, but I figure someone here knows. S2KI never fails me!

Stick the allen key in the hex bolt as a lever to turn the collar. Of course loosen the hex bolt before turning.
Each spring should have a 3 part number separated by two dots. The first number is the spring rate, 2nd the free length, and 3rd the coil wound diameter. At some point, Eibach changes the numbers from SAE to metric. Or maybe it's the other way around from metric to SAE, I can't be sure 'cuz it's been a while. In any case, compare the numbers on each spring, the bigger 1st number notifies the stiffer spring.

You need to jack up the front of the car (both sides) then take off your wheels. Once you loosen the allen bolt you can just twist the pedestal with your hands, you may need to use a little wd40 to loosen things up.
The back end is the same thing.
I just had mine installed last week and am still tweaking the height, so ive done it a few times this last week.

Now that you mention allen key, should the set have come with one.
How hard is it to turn the collar using the allen key?

No direct experience with GC on the S so I can't say how hard to turn the collar with bare hands. Basically, if the spring is not preloaded with full suspension droop, then just do what Jim suggested. Jack up the car both left and right then turn by bare hands after allen bolt is loosened. However, if the spring is preloaded even with full suspension droop, it may be hard to turn the collar with bare hands but you should still be able to turn the collar with allen key in the bolt hole. Whether spring is preloaded with full suspension droop depends on the application, suspension motion ratio, spring length, shock shaft travel, ride height, etc.

Can't you count the number of coils. More coils = stiffer springs?
